I grew up a ridiculously conservative Muslim in America. Completely ruined my life; my parents didn’t even try raising us other than screaming at us about being Muslim. All my siblings and I took a long to get adjusted to real life and now in my 40s, I’m finally starting to become happy after removing my Muslim friends/connections from my life. This is odd because most Americans claim to be Christian. Both the old and new testaments of the bible say that greed is evil.
Bear in mind that the number of genuine American Christians was highly inflated, to begin with. Even though 70% of Americans may identify as Christians, many of them are not genuine about it (i.e., don’t go to church, read Bible, pray, believe Christian tenets or anything,) it’s known as ‘cultural Christianity.’ Many of them are in fact closeted atheists or agnostics. the vast majority of Americans, deep down inside, will have no religious preference.
