This will obviously be controversial here, but canceling all student debt should not the priority. Helping people who are struggling to pay their debts writ large makes a lot of sense, but targeting people with college degrees for a massive aid package is regressive. I have a college degree.

I’m doing fine, I don’t need help. People with college degrees are disproportionately from privileged backgrounds. Canceling auto debt, for example, would be extremely progressive because people who take out auto loans are _not_ disproportionately from privileged backgrounds.
