That moment was such an eye-opener for me too. I’ve been a fan of Biden for years, loved him as VP, but I started buying into the idea that he had lost his fastball and was just somewhat of a legacy candidate. He was down pretty low on my list of Dem candidates.
When he was able to communicate deep personal empathy for his son during the barrage of awfulness that Trump was throwing at him, it showed how much caring and pride he still has in the tank, and turned me from just being anti-Trump to strongly pro-Joe. A good man who will be a good President, if we all get out and vote!
