Then they started dropping the pay because people with work visas were showing up with canvas, mcses certs that cost to get but were ok with $15hr. Science is pretty underwhelming for the most part. it’s the “team” part of the stem that’s the actual lucrative part. I know people who’ve graduate /biology degrees and they both have to do higher learning to segue into shit like biotech. I think physics is the only “science” that you can just come out of undergrad and get a job with.
